7 yo, 17.3H Shire Mare, black with three stockings and a blaze. Power and Presence! Big, beautiful mare with a lovely, quiet temperament. Mercedes has one full season of second flight hunting under her belt with Middleburg. She hunts in a snaffle and is soft and easy enough for a woman. Although a full shire, she’s very light on her feet and only takes a medium wide saddle. She got three good gaits and is very comfortable. Since hunting, she’s been working on the flat-improving her dressage. She’s starting to get a connection to the bridle and supple laterally. She would be loads of fun to show. She’s got one show under her belt (walk, trot class) which she won. Hunt her, hack her out, show dressage – whatever. She’s quiet enough for the whole family. She is fully registered and papered.
