Bishop – 4 yo TB X Clyde x Hackney bay gelding, 17H (and may grow a bit yet), this is one powerhouse of a horse – big and uphill with a huge stride. Probably one of the best natural jumpers we have ever had – and that’s saying something because we’ve had some amazing horses. But this guy, WOW! Just point him at a fence and he does the rest. Super front end, unbelievably balanced canter gets him his distance every time. Has a natural lead change, the list goes on. Serious talent for the upper levels here. His potential on the flat is equally amazing – top quality gaits with a world class canter. He’s green yet, under saddle for less than six months, but very trainable. We’ve done very little jumping because of his size and age but what we’ve done – he’s been outstanding in every way. He’s a sensitive horse and needs a sensitive rider but will be an absolute packer over fences once he’s made. If you need a bigger horse with serious talent, have a look.
