Allora (Alli) is a 2015, chestnut/sorrel Belgian x TB mare standing just under 16H. I’m pulling out all the superlatives for this mare and I still can’t say enough good things about her! She is a classic type with a lot of refinement for a crossbred. She is, hands down, the easiest horse we have ever started – literally, we just got on her and went. She stands for mounting, she cantered the first time we asked, she’s quiet and attentive under saddle. it’s hard to know what else to do with a 3 yo that is this quiet and this balanced. She learns from every ride and she happily hacks out by herself. She’s such a nice mover, with a hunter-like trot and a fabulous canter (Again, that balance!) Her half brother is showing in the hunters. She’ll be well suited to just about any sport from dressage to eventing to hunters. A quiet, spectacular prospect. You will not find many draft crosses this refined. . .a once in a lifetime horse!
